So I have a screen I click on. The "webPage" comes back as the requested resource unavailable.

What I don't get is that when I run the server locally on my machine it works just fine. But when this is deployed out to server I get the error. The screen comes up but the data doesn't show up. Where should I look to troubleshoot this?

(please fix the code tags in your post)

Are you using the correct context path in the URLs for the deployed application?

It depends on how it is deployed. For example, if the app is being deployed as a war file, the default context path will be the name of the war file. But it could be configured to be anything.

Is it being deployed on Tomcat? Other?

deployed as war file and tomcat 6.0

Hmm- this reminds me. I also had noticed from the last time the war was deployed that the file name of the project had changed ever so slightly. So that must be in one of the properties files or ?

Don't know what you mean by "file name of the project".

But, if Tomcat is deploying the war file using default config, the context path will be the name of the war file. So, if the war file is named xyz.war, and the servlet path is /path-to-my-servlet, the URL would be http://www.whatever.com/xyz/path-to-my-servlet.

This assumes deployment on port 80, and no Apache up-front doing URL shenanigans.
