Hi,

I just saw this sitemesh framework, and got interested as it generated a website's frame/design automatically.

What frameworks or template generators do you know that are good?

I have seen this template inside WSAD/RAD also and it seems useful too.

It looks like Tiles has the same purpose as sitemesh.

To those who work in enterprise and big companies, which technology do you use, if any, on this kind of technology? sitemesh? tiles? any?

Stripes comes with its own layout API so I generally use it. If I had to pick something else I'd probably go with sitemesh.

Can I use the Stripes layout API by itself, outside of the Stripes framework? e.g. with struts?

No, I don't think so. You should just use Stripes.

Sure =)

Hopefully I find time to look into Stripes.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
