Jasper Report : Passing page type as parameter

Hi All,

I have been tasked to RnD whether ireport /jasperreport can accept page type from parameter passed from java program and print the print report accordingly.

The page type is like A3, A4, B4, B5 and others.

I have tested print report with pre-defined page size as A4 from iReport JasperViewer and print it by changing page size from properties window to other size like A3 and B4.

Result of the printing from all page size is very similar, no much different. But if I change the page size directly from ireport itself from Edit > Report Properties, yes, the report size change accordingly.

So, my question is , are there any possibility to make page size as parameter, so that we can pass it from java program to make it printed nicely.
