Hi,

I have a doubt in onChange() event. On the selection of the value in the search box, the user should be displayed data dynamically from the database.
Can you tell how to do

Thanks,
Padma priya N.G.

If you are talking about the way some sites like Google offer suggestions as you type, check out the jQuery AutoComplete widget.

I don't think that what he's asking about.

In the change event you can create an Ajax request back to the server to get more data.

Isn't that what AutoComplete does?

The only other scenario I could think of is the way a select/option control can leap to the first matching option as you type or filter down the options based on what is typed.

I don't think he's looking to get the options for the dropdown from the server (as an autocompleter would) do, but to fetch data based on the selection of the dropdown (perhaps for a subsequent dropdown?). But who knows... the OP doesn't seem to be responding.
