Hi ranchers,

I am suppose to work on a Multimedia project. This project includes basic features like media uploading, media captioning, media displaying and thumbnail view of a media just like youtube.

My application should support 4 media formats(rm, wmv, mov, flv).

Iam in need of a open source java API which can convert any of the uploading media to a common FLV format and store it on a FTP location so that i can handle only FLV media format. As FLV is small in size.

I should also show also thumbnail view of a uploaded media in listing pages as this will add rich look to the application.

I have done a great R & D at google unsuccessfully.

Please suggest me a open source Java API which can encode a media to a FLV.

Thanks in advance for your time and patience,
Venkat
