Hi everyone,

I have a SCJP 1.4 certification and I wanna try an upgrade to OCP Java SE 7. The question is: do the ePub or kindle buyers of Kathy's/Bates book (OCA/OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide) have access to the content provided by CD-ROM from hardcover version (exam questions, test engine and more)?

Thanks in advance,

Hugo.

Hi Hugo,

First of all, a warm welcome to the CodeRanch!

I would assume they do, but I never bought an electronic version of the book, so it's no guarantee

Kind regards,
Roel

(PS. I moved your question to a seperate topic, because it's an interesting one and many other ranchers might have the same question. So now it's more in the open and not hidden in another thread )

We asked this question in a recent promo about McGraw-Hill's OCMEA CD. The answer was that if you buy the e-book, you can download the test engine. Someone verified this was in fact true. Since we are talking about the same publisher and this happened fairly recently, it is likely the answer applies to this book as well.

Thanks for the response, Roel and Jeanne! Looking forward to hearing from e-version buyers.

ps. Thanks Roel for welcoming me...actually I used to access this ranch a lot when I tried the 1.4 certification 10 years ago!
