with spring security has the practice of creating your own login page got obselete?

In web applications the common practice has been to create login authentication page to most applications.However spring security creates its own login page. So has the practice of creating your own login page got obsolete or it is still used?

No.. It has not become obsolete.. we still use our own login page and use spring security..
Yes, Spring Security can create a login page, but if you don't need you can very much use your own, check the link, Maneesh has pointed to.
