I'm glad I passed WSD5 today with 76%. I thought my score was higher but oh well.
The resources I used were:
-
Java Web Services by David Chappell
- Java Up & Running 1e by Martin Kalin (read this twice)
- WSD5 study notes from Ivan Krizsan
-
SOAP v1.1 & v1.2 specs
- WSDL v1.1 spec
- UDDI v2 spec
- WS-I Basic Profile 1.1 spec
Overall, I did found the
test quite hard because it got a lot of questions asking the characteristics of this and that. What made it hard for me anyway was the answer choices, one choice stating it CAN and the other saying CANNOT. So it's a 50-50 chance.
Also questions asking if XML (WSDL or Basic Profile) is valid/compliant/conformant or not are very tricky especially the answer choices differ in just a line making it easy to overlook.
