Hi there,
Have anyone come across a tutorial or some documents that gives you some
ideas what type of test can/should be performed for a weblogic application.
Just to make sure we are not missing anything...

There is no standardized list of performance tests that I know of (at least none published by BEA). But you can devise your own depending on your needs. Do you have a clustered environment, use JMS queues or topics, or transactions? The best place to look is in the BEA Documents website.
We use Mercury's WinRunner and LoadRunner(really good tools for testing load balancing and stress testing a web app or enterprise app), and monitor through the admin console.
You may want to repost your question again in the WebLogic Forum to get some other responses.
