Where Do I begin?
I'm SCJP2 certifed, a DB2 application DBA, and you might call me and enterprise database developer.
I write code for DB2, Oracle, and CloudScape using Cobol, C, Perl, and/or Java.
I have about 3 months experience with TOMCAT & J2EE servers.
Where should I begin...
Please Help

My best advice for you is to get cracking.
Download the eval copy of WL 6.1. BEA provides very good documentation. Build a simple app and/or review the petStore that comes bundled with the download.
Keep in mind that WebLogic is "just" an application server. It doesn't get too complicated until you get into the stack of eCommerce software.
Best of luck.
Chris
PS You are about much better off with WebLogic than WebSphere. WebSphere does not keep up with Sun's specs nearly as well...and it has a much larger footprint.
