I've expanded my WebLogic Certification website, which is now hosted at Gamma Enterprise Technologies:
www.GetGamma.com/wlscert.html.
New features include a dynamic mock exam engine with real-time scoring and section analysis, and a few discussion groups. And thanks to input from Javaranch users and my colleagues at Gamma, we'll keep adding to the study guide resources. Come check it out!

Hi Joe,
Thats good job. I visited the site, very organised, keep it up.
One more query, I think this for aspiring to become WLS6.0, not WLS6.1 Certification. If one is going through WLS6.1 documentation for WLS6.0 certification is it OK ?
Any way, any idea when WLS version 7 is going to release.
Kind Regards
Rashid

Using the 6.1 documentation is fine. However, for the exam you won't have to worry about issues found only in 6.1 (such as SNMP support). I don't have any idea when version 7 is due out, but I'll update the site accordingly when it does. I'll probably maintain 6.x and 7.x simultaneously for awhile.
Glad you liked the site!

Hi Joe,
I took the test and scored 68%. Hmm... so I guess with a little bit of effort I can pass the Weblogic Certification.
Great work.

Thanks a lot Joe!!!
Im studying for the SCWCD and WL6.0 exam for a while and as soon as I clear the SCWCD Ill do the WL6.0 exam(my voucher for that expires at december 20th), Ive visited the site and Im sure itll help me a lot.
I think thats the most wonderful face of Internet, it allows guys like you to share your knowlege and experience with other.
regards.

We have switched ISPs and the website is back up and running fine. All the changes should be transparent to the end user, so you can still access at:
http://www.GetGamma.com/wlscert.html
Thanks,
joe

Hi Joe.
I like your site alot. Great work! Once I am done with my Web Component exam, I will start on the WebLogic exams.

A question for all Ranchers,
Is Weblogic 6.x certifications getting phased out in favor of 7.0? If they are doing it, what is the timeframe. Many thanks.

As of this date, November 5, 2001, there is no version 7. Version 6.0 just came out in December of 2000. I think the 6.x version is going to be around awhile before they roll out a version 7. Who knows, they may release a 6.2, 6.3, etc. before they go to version 7.
As for certification, you're certified from second previous version - meaning that if you get your 6.x certification, you're current until they release a version 8.x.

Joe, I used to be able to go to http://www.GetGamma.com/WLSCert.html without any problem. Today, I got a message saying that the site is "not found". I am asking for help because a beginner wants to have an introduction to the WLS 6.0 Certification Exam, and I intend to refer him to your web site. I think that you have done a great job.

For those having trouble getting to the site, see that the last part of the url is in lower case ( /wlscert.html).
The correct link is www.getgamma.com/wlscert.html.
In the meantime I'll try and fix the bug!
