I'm skipping ahead a bit here with where I am currently at assignment-wise. However, does the instruction to read up on Date (which implies use Date) still stand or can we use the new SE8 time package?

I haven't updated the CD to have Java 8 solutions yet, AND I'm not familliar with the new APIs.

If you are willing to be patient (because I'm learning too), I will nitpick your assignment with Java 8. If it will be too stressful for you to have (maybe) additional back and forth, go with 7 or below.

Surely it should be a DVD, USB or even a cloud that you update these days Janeice! It's okay, I've got a stress ball to squeeze; failing that, a bottle of beer.

I haven't learnt the Date API and since I've just read the section on the Time API in the OCA study guide I'm more of an "expert" in the latter than the former.
