So we've made the move from the porkchop to javaranch.com. At the same time, the software was upgraded and we have a new ISP.
So many changes!
I know there is a problem with the image at the top of every page. I'm waiting for the javaranch content to get dug up.
How's the ISP speed?
How's the new software?

I tried to post a reply in the Utilities forum and had it rejected with an error about the forum name not being the same as the stored name. I was eventually able to post only by hacking the URL parameters to remove a leading '+' from the forum name.
Any ideas?
Oh, and I'm glad the in-line listing of previous messages has come back.

I don't know what is going wrong, but I will contact the support folks for this software package.
Thanks for the detailed info!

I went and posted to the utilities forum and it works.
Can you try it again and tell me if it still doesn't work?

It seems to be auto-correcting once a successful post occurs. I just tried to reply to the second thread in the Utilities forum (which hasn't been replied to since the move), and I got the same error.
My guess would be that UBB somehow stores the forum name with (the most recent message of) each thread, and complains if it doesn't match. Whether an approach of post a reply then immediately delete it would clear up any troublesome threads is anyones guess.
Either you or I could try that if you like.

I faced the same problem of forum name. It complained that the Thread and Syncronization forum doesn't match with the one actually registered. Then i tried after removing extra +. It worked.
