How can i improve the
The performance of the weblogic 6.1 ,
In my application i am using Entity/Session beans in the back end and for the front end i am using the Jsps.
For Database connection i am using the Weblogic Connection pool,
This problem comes when we are trying to access the application with more clients.
it is giving the Proxy time out for the some clients.
What could be the BottleNecks for the Weblogic server.
HardWare : Win Server 2000 / RAM - 1 GB
Weblogic : sp 3
Database : oracle 9i

Is the application running in a cluster?
First identify whether your application is CPU/Network/IO bound.
Did you try profiling this application?
Performance tuning is a good exercise. It would demand more information and work to get 'optimal' performance. Try referring the book 'J2EE Performance Testing with BEA WebLogic Server' (ISBN: 1904284000).

No,
we are not using clustering.
and we will get proxy time out only when the responce send by the server will take long time.
