Socket server on weblogic

I want to make a socket server which can receive the message from a C++ application,then which form I can deploy it to on Weblogic?

I would not recommend deploying components on WebLogic that explicitly listen on sockets, it could cause all sorts of problems, which is exactly the reason it is forbidden by the EJB Specification.
Could you explain the problem you are trying to solve in further detail? Most likely there is an better solution...

The socket server just receives message from some c++ client and then calls EJB deployed on the Weblogic,the platform is Solaris.Maybe after I start the webloigc,I run "java socketserver" as an independent application to listen to the socket connection.But do they run on the same JVM?

I know little about C++,so can you give me some resource or sample about C++ client calss EJB directly?Thanks in advance
