Hi all,

I try populating values from javascript into the s:textfield which works fine. But I don't want to make it appear as a text field since it is inside a td. I prefer that to be a non text field. This case doesn't work. Below is the code

where name has been set in javascript.
I tried to make it appear like a normal field using s:property with value attribute but it didn't work. Can someone help with this ?

What is a "normal field" as opposed to a "text field"? What HTML tag do you hope to end up with?
Are you trying to set the values in the field or the name of the field? You say both and I only see you setting the name.
Mixing Struts tags and JavaScript will be problematic as JSP tags are processed on the server and JavaScript is processed by the client.
