I have 5.1 and in my weblogic-ejb-jar.xml I had to keep shuffling around my entries until I found which entry never deployed. Now that I have found this entry, how do debug it? It looks just like all the other entires, so how can I get a clue as to where to start.
Below is my weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file

<!DOCTYPE weblogic-ejb-jar PUBLIC '-//BEA Systems, Inc.//DTD WebLogic 5.1.0 EJB//EN' 'http://www.bea.com/servers/wls510/dtd/weblogic-ejb-jar.dtd'>
<weblogic-ejb-jar>
<weblogic-enterprise-bean>
<ejb-name>Vmstat</ejb-name>
<persistence-descriptor>
<persistence-type>
<type-identifier>WebLogic_CMP_RDBMS</type-identifier>
<type-version>5.1.0</type-version>
<type-storage>META-INF/Vmstat-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml</type-storage>
</persistence-type>
<persistence-use>
<type-identifier>WebLogic_CMP_RDBMS</type-identifier>
<type-version>5.1.0</type-version>
</persistence-use>
</persistence-descriptor>
<reference-descriptor>
<resource-description>
<res-ref-name>jdbc/DataSource</res-ref-name>
<jndi-name>DataSource</jndi-name>
</resource-description>
</reference-descriptor>
<jndi-name>Vmstat</jndi-name>
</weblogic-enterprise-bean>
</weblogic-ejb-jar>
