I want to create a WLS8.1 Cluster with managed servers residing in different Machines. My Question do we need to create the same domain ( Including all the servers ) in all the servers using the wizard? . Or is it ok if we copy the whole domain directoy to all the managed server hosts?
I am newbie to weblogic. Please help me in this regard.
Thanks

yes, to be in a cluster all the servers should be in the same domain. You can have a better explanation on how to do it looking at bea docs at:
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/cluster/index.html
this adress is for weblogic 8.1. If u're using different version look at
edocs.bea.com
regards.
