You have a question public static void main (String[] fred) which I see you were trying to test that any name can be used for the argument. You left out the semicolon so I marked it wrong. You may want to indicate that you can ingnore such things in the instructions. I think it is true that a better answer for the question about catching an exception with a superclass parameter of the thrower would be that it is ok since all exceptions descend from throwable and therefore it is still a subclass of the thrown exception. ------------------ "Hierro candente, batir de repente"

Err... who is this addressed to? Are you talking about one of the questions in the Java Rules Roundup? Or some other source of questions?

I am talking of the questions in the Roundup. There is no direct link there for feedback so I assumed posting it here was my only option.

Ah. That's for Paul then. I'll move this to the "Java Ranch" topic to be sure he sees it (and since it's not actually for certification.) Paul- I guess "please mosey over to the Big Moose Saloon and let us know of any problems" is a bit vague, now that the site has grown. I assume Rules Roundup feedback should go to the Java Ranch topic, right?
Moving Rules Roundup stuff here is fine. So! I'm trying to understand the question. The roundup game has a question with "fred" in it and it needs a semicolon? Right now my ftp access is down so I can't check into it. Can you give me any more text so I can make sure I find the right one?

There is no error. I went back and looked at it again. I thought there was a statement inside the bracket with no semi but there is not so it is ok. Sorry for all the mess. :-)
