Timeoutexception

Hi All,
I am using weblogic v8.1 and am getting the following exception

javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Exception in ejbLoad:; nested exception is: javax.ejb.EJBException: nested exception is: java.sql.SQLException: Transaction rolled back: Transaction timed out after 32 seconds 

and I did set my timeout value to 1860 in

<ejb-name>MySB</ejb-name>
<stateless-session-descriptor>
<pool>
<max-beans-in-free-pool>100</max-beans-in-free-pool>
<initial-beans-in-free-pool>25</initial-beans-in-free-pool>
</pool>
</stateless-session-descriptor>
<transaction-descriptor>
<trans-timeout-seconds>1860</trans-timeout-seconds>
</transaction-descriptor>

Why does it time out at 32seconds when I have the value set at 1860s?
Or I am doing anything wrong?
any pointers appreciated.
