When does the log statements from an application go into the .nohuplog file and when does it go into the log file ?

if you started you app server using a command like:

nohup ./startWeblogic.sh &

all the log information that should go to the console goes to the nohup.out file and the commom log information from the server, domain, etc... goes to log files.
