We are running Weblogic 6.1 with SP2.

We have set max connection size to 300.When ever 301st user is trying to connect the application, Weblogic server give internal error and hang.

Is there any solution to stop this?

What kind of connections are you asking about? Application threads? Database Connections?

What are they doing? How long does a request take?

I am talking about Database Connection.

A Connection last for 10 second max.

Are you using connection pool and datasource?

Are you closing your ResultSets, Statements and Connections?

You could post some code snippets.

I am geting Connection from the using DataSouce by following code...

InitialContext objInitialContext = new InitialContext();
DataSource objDataSource = (DataSource)objInitialContext.lookup(datasource);
System.out.println("Inside DBManager.getConnection() ");
return objDataSource.getConnection();

I am using following code to close the Connection

if(conn != null){
conn.close();
conn = null;
}

I want to know here, by doing Connection.close(), does the Connection object returns to the ConnectionPool?
