I am working on trying to implement a filter for Weblogic's Domain Logging. I understand that weblogic already has a built in Logging Filter that can be setup through the weblogic console, but it is somewhat limited.
I am trying to write a
java filter class that implements the Filter interface of java's logging API which is used by weblogic. In theory i had read that if I add this java class to weblogic's classpath it will use the filter for its logging. I added the class to weblogic's classpath but it doesn't have any affect. I am using weblogic 8.1 sp6.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
