A question about "persistence.xml" by Weblogic

Hi all,

I built an EJB-Project, a JAR file, which contains the "persistence.xml" under \src\META-INF\. It looks as follow:

I use the same file by JBoss and after I deployed and started this JAR, the entity tables will be created.

Now I deploy this JAR on Weblogic 10g. But no entity tables are created after this JAR is deployed and started.

I've created a Data Source via Admin Console and have tested it. This connection to the physical data base is OK.

Hi,

have you created weblogic-cmp-jar.xml DD? Are you using EJBs for persistence?

Take a look at:

http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/ejb/DDreference-cmp-jar.html#wp1162249

that may be what you're missing.

regards.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
