Weblogic 9.1 node manager

We recently implimented nodemanger into our environment. We have it monitoring all of our application servers and our admin servers. Since we have configured it, the deploys and redeployment takes 3 times longer than it used to.

If I do not use nodemanger to monitor our admin servers, the deployments are very quick.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this?

We have recently implemented node manager in weblogic 9.1 domains & haven't experienced any issues or slow performance in weblogic servers / deployments.

Only the thing I can imagine behind slow response is memory available on the server as nodemanager will take some memory.

Thanks
Nilesh

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
