Hi,

I'm using WL 9.2.2 and I cannot access my WL Admin Console. I would like to restart from the command line but I have never done this before. Is there a restart script or the equivalent that I can run?

Thanks, - Dave

if it is just the development environment Ctrl+C and the run the startWebLogic script again.
I'm guessing that it doesn't ship with a straight restart script. You need to shutdown and start, or develop your own restart script which would essentially do these steps for you.

Hi,

are you using node manager? Can you connect to it using nmConnect?
Please post some more information on you problem so we can help better!

regards.

Hi,

Yes, I'm using Node Manager. What is nmConnect? There is a web based admin console from which we control server starting and stopping and it is this admin console that is no longer reachable.

Thanks, - Dave

Hi,

nmConnect is a WLST command you can use to connect to node manager and then control all domains related to nodemanager instance, including start and stop servers even admin servers.
Take a look at:

Hi,

I was able to get into the WebLogic WLST console and I'm trying to restart my server, but getting this weird info ...

wls:/nps_pt_92/edit> state('npsconfiggui-ms-1')
Current state of 'npsconfiggui-ms-1' : ADMIN
wls:/nps_pt_92/edit> resume('npsconfiggui-ms-1')
Failed to resume the server npsconfiggui-ms-1 due to:
weblogic.server.ServerLifecycleException: Can not get to the relevant ServerRuntimeMBean

What does this mean and how can I resolve it? As always, your feedback is appreciated, - Dave
