Hi all I am familiar with weblogic7.0 and I am preparing for scwcd1.5 and weblogic7.0 is j2ee1.3 complaint ,Can anyone please tell me which version of weblogic is j2ee1.5 complaint .

I have downloaded weblogic10.0 installer and loaded in the system . I started the server and the server command prompt showed server running , In the browser when I typed http://localhost:7001

It gave 404 error code , when I typed http://localhost:7001/console

I was able to see the server console.

so please help me regarding choosing the right server
Thanks a lot

This sounds like WLS 10 is running fine. Unless you install a web application to the root context there's nothing to show so you'll get a 404. If the server wasn't working you'd get a connection error.

As for the version of J2EE it supports, see the documentation.

Thanks Joe for your Reply but what I wanted to know that if my weblogic10.0 is running properly or not as in weblogic7.0 when we type http://localhost:7001

in the browser we can see the home page of bea . so we can conclude that the server is running properly but in weblogic10.0 how do we test that ?

Deploy an application to the root context. Or any context, really.
