How to do JDBC traces in websphere 3.0.2

Well, it depends on what you mean. If you want to find out what SQL statements are being issued -- you generally have to do that in your database. On the other hand, if you want to turn on tracing for EJB's and DataSources you can do that through the normal trace facility -- read in the InfoCenter on "trace" and see how you do that...
