Hi all,
I am using WAS 3.5. Fixpack 3. The Global security setting has an option for enabling the Local os Security challenge. I enabled it, but after restart it only challenges only when the console is started. It does not work for the appliciations. If I try accessing snoopservlet it does not throw a challenge box. Can anyone help.
Thanks

Do not we need to set up the security for the web applicaton? Did you check whether the servlet is protected? What is the role? etc.

In WebSphere 3.5 the default for Servlets is not to be protected, even with security turned on. READ THE INFOCENTER -- especially the bits about setting up an Enterprise Application for security...
