Do IBM Solution Developer expire for Enterprise Developer certificate?

Hello everyone. I posted this question on the certification thread, but no one bother to answer. Since this is related to IBM JCert 3, I want to post it here and hope someone knows the answer.
Hello all
I have a question. The JCert3 says it requires solution developer + 2 tests. Does this solution developer means only the current active solution developer certificate? Can the old ones be used as well?
For example, for IBM Enterprise developer, Can people use the old VisualAge solution developer(which is not open anymore) + 2 tests to achieve it?
THanks.

Yes. I used the VAJ4.0 Solution Developer certification for the WAS4.0 Enterprise Developer certification in November 2001. I'm not sure if the VAJ3.0 certification would count especially since IBM is now offering WSAD certification.
