FTP export from Websphere Application Developer

Has anyone run into problems doing an FTP export from Websphere Application Developer? I set mine up based on my local FTP client configuration and it gave me "Error creating folder for file".
Has anyone else run into this?...if so, please let me know what you did to get around the problem.
