I am facing a typical problem with WAS 4.0.3
The JSP is not getting compiled as it is complaining that the code is too large for the try statement.
Is this a bug with WAS .
Please let me know if there is some fix pack for this
The error in detail is as follows :
C:\WebSphere\AppServer\temp\swagh\Default_Server\EP102\cs70_banking.war\common\transact\user\_reorder_5F_checks_jsp_1.java:420: code too large for try statement
try {
^
I tried JSPBatchCompiler.
Unable to compile class for JSP -- Branch too large errors
Anyone help please .

Ummm... That's not a bug, that's a well-known issue with Java compilers in general and JSP's in specific.
The only solution is to rewrite your JSP. Try splitting Java code out into separate classes and calling the new classes from your JSP's.
Everyy time I've seen this error it's from a JSP that's in desparate need of refactoring...
