Hi all,
In VAJ 4, I need to manage distributed transaction using JTA. I set up the datasource using JTA type( instead of JDBC type) and the databases DB2 on WIN and AIX have been configured to support JTS.
1. I use CMT Session Bean to manage the distributed transaction to update AIX and Win DB2 database, no problem.
2. I use JTA datasource to update AIX Db2 database in a java application(no distributed transaction), no problem.
But when I use JTA to manage the transaction to update Aix DB2 in a java application, Trying to get a connection.... Exception is : java.lang.NullPointerException. What is the problem? Please advice.

It seems classpath problem, no problem when use BMT Session EJB, in standalone application, the problem happens, but even i add all the workbench projects to the classpath, it says same problem: NullPointerException.
