How to connect to AS400 database from WSAD

Hi, if anybody knows how to connect AS400 database from WSAD? Please help me out.
There is a workspace on our server, and I pointed WSAD to that workspace from my PC. They have a data source called jdbc/Data Source, this data source is defined within the WebSphere application server, not WSAD, and also they use AS/400 database. I am wandering if I can run the project from my own pc using WebSphere V4.0 Test Environment? Also am I able to connect to AS400 database?
