How about having a timer which would tell you how long it took you to complete three rounds. You could specify a target time, This could help people prepare for the timed SCJP exam.
Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
The questions used in the rules roundup game are generally shorter than the questions on the actual exam. So I don't think a timer will be of much use. I am thinking that it would be good to get immediate feedback after every question. Yes? No?

The cows give you a certain amount of immediate feedback already. I didn't mind waiting until the end for the rest, but there were times when I just took a guess, and got it right, that I would have liked to see a description of the question anyway. My 2 euros Eric B.
