hi all,
I have developed 2 ear project in wsad 4.0.
I have a simple java class, in ear2, which is being called from ejb of ear1.
at runtime I get noClassDeffoundError, when the server is trying to start ear1, saying that the particular class cannot be found(which I have in ear2).
can anyone tell me, is is not possible to call any class residing in different EAR?
why am I getting this error, although the compilation didn't fail.

thanx

check your server to ensure that both ear files are located in the classpath.

Hi
u can keep the classes which r common across the ear's/applications in the lib/ext directory. then the server will pick it up when starting.
hope this helps
