Can I develop Web Application run in WAS using Oracle 7.3.4 ?

I have old application using oracle 7.3.4. and want to re-develop using Web-Based architecture. However, the JDBC driver cannot connect to Oracle 7.3.4. Can I using odbc-jdbc in WAS 5.0 ? How to set the WAS to use odbc-jdbc ? Thanks.

which JDBC driver r u using??
if u r getting any errors can u post it here so that the problem will become a little clear
