JMS - MQ Explorer GUI question

Hi,
Can someone help me with this.
I have installed websphere MQ 5.3 on a windows 2000 server. I am using the MQ expolorer GUI tool to create QManagers and queues. Now I want to use pub/sub for messaging. I have installed the SupportPac for websphere MQ pub/sub.
How do I associate a broker with the QManager and create Topics using MQ Explorer ?
I can use the command line to create a broker as follows:
strmqbrk -m myQManager
But once I logoff the machine the broker terminates and I have to create it again.
Can Topics be created like Queues using MQ Explorer or the command line ?
