JAAS Authentication Entries Where are they stored...!!

Hi..
Does anyone know for sure where are the JAAS Authentication entries (Alias Names and User Names and Passwords Stored in Websphere Application Server 5 and Websphere Studio Application Developer Studio 5.

Local OS, LDAP or custom implemented registry ... at least those oare the options for WAS.

Hi Rufus BugleWeed,
Can you throw some more light. How are they configured as to local os or LDAP or Registry. Are there any options available to choose JAAS Storage.

Actually only standard USERID/PWDs used for authentication are stored in the user registries Rufus mentions. JAAS authentication id's (which, you'll remember are only used to provide a USER/PWD to a data source for its own authentication) are stored in the Security.xml file in the config directory (in encrypted form).
