Hi,
I am trying to port a vertical slice of code from WAS3.5.6 to WASv5.0
I am facing the following problem:
[12/8/03 18:01:28:969 IST] 608f7b5a SystemErr R com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException: [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "". Communication function detecting the error: "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "111", "*", "*". SQLSTATE=08001

I rechecked the code, Connection is properly handled and works fine with WAS3.5.6. Database properly catlogued and i am able to directly connect to the database.
Environment
WAS version 5 on Redhat Linux advanced server 2.1
DB2 version 7.2 on Redhat Linux 7.2
Type 2 Driver (db2java.zip)
Port 50000
Thanks,
Priya.
