Hi all,
Recently I was running my Java Application on WSAD5.0, it gave my some strange error messages:
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
Does anyone know something about it?
Thanks a lot!

According to IBM this is from the JITC attempting to compile some code for optimization, and failing do to the existence of an uncought exception on the execution stack.

I ran into this during unit testing with hibernate, webwork, and mock objects in place of the Servlet framework. XWork was attempting calls into stuff in the servlet world that wasn't expected by the Mock framework. There was now affect except you could see the exceptions on the ActionContext.context (Map)
where there should have been the string result of the application/session/request/parameter entries.

HTH

This may be too late to be of any use, but this forum was the only hit google could find with this exact error, so hopefully someone will find this useful.

In my case, I caused this by creating an infinite recursive loop.

In other words, I had a struts jsp page that used a tiles:insert tag to include another instance of itself. After a large number of iterations, the server crashed with the message:

mmiVerifyTpAndGetWorkSize: stack_height=1 should be zero; exit
