WAS 4.0.7 Form elements not posting

Running WAS 4.0.7 on Win2k w/ Solaris Iplanet webserver plugin and I have been having this intermittent problem for a while...
The user is looking at a form on their browser, the form has a hardcoded form name in a hidden field. The user submits the form.. On Websphere (in a servlet that is the target of the post), I attempt to retrieve the form name from the Request and it's not there (an neither are all the other entered form elements). If I use the application by hitting the IBM Http server that is installed on the WIN2k (that has a plugin configured exactly like the iplanet plugin) everything is fine.
I was thinking that this could be a latency issue?? (perhaps when the user submits there form there is a blip or somethng that prevents all the form data from being submitted to Websphere)
I have also tried tweaking the HTTP transport parameters on Websphere to no avail.. I'm all out of suggestions!
