There have been some recent suggestions about creating new forums. In the past, the thinking was "if we see a lot of discussion on a topic, we'll make a new forum for it". Now I'm thinking, if someone wants to head up a new forum, we should give them a chance to make it go. If the forum flops, we can always remove it. Now I don't want to go overboard creating forums, but I'm willing to try a few to see how this goes. Some people had some ideas earlier - are those people still around?

Paul, I think the three forums Java in General should be clubbed totally into a single forum. New forums can be considered for I/O and Streams which is a difficult topic for most to understand.
There used to be one, and we decided to make three. The beginners were being intimidated by the somewhat more advanded questions appearing. They felt they would look dumb posting such newbie questions with all of the more advanced questions. Rahul, I will create I/O and streams on one condition: You get the ball rolling. Make sure there is a new topic every day for a week. Make sure all questions get answered. And yes, you will be the moderator. Deal? (In the past I have made new forums and they never got used)

Paul, Ok i can handle it. But the I/O questions from Java Certification pages must be transfered to generate traffic.
