JdbcOdbcDriver not found in version 5.1.1

Hello,

Is anybody out there connecting to an Access database from a Websphere Studio Application Developer 5.1.1 environment? It's an easy configuration but when we migrated from 5.0 it stopped working and after countless hours of research we've found that this is a jre 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 issue as documented here:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=860&context=SW600&q1=pq86563&uid=swg1PQ86563&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

jre 1.4.2 is recommended so I tried fooling WSAD by changing the _jvm folder with jre 1.4.2 but no luck. We can't upgrade to WSAD 5.1.2 yet which is supposed to fix this issue.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Richard

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
