EJB Access from Stand Alone Application in WSAD

Hi,

Can an expert assist.?

I have a stand alone application running in WSAD, one of its functions is to call a stateless session bean to perform a business function. The bean has been created with the business logic and I now have access to handle to the beans remote interface in my application.

I do know that the EJB project needs to be identifed via add projects to the WAS server
and the deployment stubs need to be generated for the bean via Generate RMIC code.

Now I need to know the steps for consumming this bean in WSAD from the standalone app given I have a handle to EJBHome.

Questions:

If I call the create() method then the Business method in the application on the EJB will the EJB automatically start running on the WAS server? if not what have I missed?

The standalone application will be running in a different JVM (outside the container) are there going to be any pecularities in the JNDI name because of this I was proposing to use

java:comp/env/ejb/RemoteInterfaceName

Thanks!
