Hi,

Iam trying to deploy a CMP on WSAD v5.0 using Oracle as backend. Trying to run the .ear file on server displays following error.

Cant make any sense out of it.

Can anyone help me out.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The problem was due to a WSAD variable "ORACLE_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH" not being set. Assigning a proper value to the variable solved it

You must have beaten me, thanks for the name change, I appreciate it.

WebSphere loves those long stack traces. The trick is finding the grain of useful information in a sea of ibm classes.

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleLog
just a stab in the dark, but could this be it?

Were you able to resolve this? I am having the same problem

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
