Does anybody know if there is an equivalent of weblogic.management.timer.Timer in WAS 6 ?

And please note that WAS 6 is fully compliant with the J2EE 1.4 spec, where you have the new Timer Service. It might well be that this service fulfils your needs.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
