Can anyone tell what are the jars to be included in the classpath to call a EJB in WSAD 5.1 from a standalone java program running in another machine.

You need to install the J2EE client environment from the installation discs.

When you install WebSphere, one of the options, as opposed to installing the full blown WebSphere, it to install a J2EE client development environment. When this environment is installed and initialized, your client will be able to access the J2EE application.
