I want to create an Oracle Data source Config in my websphere 6.1 Application Server. Please which directory ion websphere do i place the Oracle JDBC Jar files

There's no one place you have to put the driver. When you configure it in the Admin Console, you will see that there's a place to enter a classpath for the datasource. You can make this classpath point to jar files anywhere on the host system.
