WebSphere application accessing files from Map Network Drive

Hi

I am having mapping drive in my window XP machine, it has xml files, when i access this Map drive through my websphere application, the map drive is not identify by the websphere application server. I am using WAS6.1 in my machine. Please give a solution.

The same application i am able to work in jboss server

I found the solution.

It was to use the UNC name of the directory mapped and not the mapped drive directly.

If the directory access need a login/password. The Websphere service on windows configuration must be own by an user account with the same login/password.

hi,, you can directly access the drive using \\<machine ip>\folder

you can read
